The front of the house A lil closer Family room when you first enter Another view of the family room. Paul can't wait to get a big TV to fill the room! Lots of large windows. "Custom" blinds! The view of the front door. Also you see the door going into the Master Bedroom. Another view of front door The stairs are almost in the center of the house. Past the stairs you can see the breakfast area. This is the shot of under the stairs. To the left you see the storage closet that was converted to accomodate central air. To the right is the mystery door to no where! The Breakfast area. Leading into the kitchen. Lots of cabinet space We found out that the short cabinets were installed b/c at one point a woman who was 4'2" lived in the house & this was so she could prepare meals. Off the kitchen is a bar that connects with the formal dining room. Currently the only room in the house with a fire place (gas). Another shot of the dining room. More of those large windows. This room leads back into the family room. master bedroom off the family room. The view back into the family room. Master bath needs some remodeling & expanding. This will be Emilia's room for now. It is a really long narrow room with large windows and a high ceiling. This shows the extra storage cubby above the closet. There is lots of hidden storage areas like this one throughout the house. Not sure why this shot was included. This is the other door from Emilia's room which leads back toward the master bedroom & master bath. More storage above door. Off the breakfast area is the third bedroom downstairs and the half bath. Both of which are small. Would make a great office /- a fouton for guests. To the left is built in storage where Michelle's textbooks will live! This one you can start to see the 1/2 bath off to the right. Now we are headed upstairs where most of the updating has yet to be done. This is the loft area just up the stairs. Will be painted in colors similar to the family room before we move in. First upstairs bedroom. Huge! 1 of 2 closets in the room. More of those windows. Currently a 14 year old's room. Most likely will be a craft/scrapbook room. Upstairs Bedroom 2 - currently a 12 year olds room. Most likely will be Paul's workout/game room. Maybe when his weight bench is inside he'll use it more. Lots of light. The blurred figure off to the right is the 12 year old playing xbox. Paul wanted to know if he could leave his xbox. The seven year olds room. Likely to one day be Emilia's room. Just imagine "EMILIA" hanging instead. This is the smallest room upstairs. Upstairs bath. Also in need of updating. Back door. Comes off the breakfast area, first leads to a screened porch/laundry room then to out side. Back of house. Paul has big plans for this area. Something about a built in BBQ Pit. Back gate, next to the garage. Apparently, you just toss your trash over the fence as the garbagemen pick it up from the alley in the back. The 3 car garage is actually a two car plus a storage shed area. The inside needs some work. We plan to hang peg board inside the garage part & putting our old fridge out there for extra freezer/fridge space. We are just glad to have more than a 5x8 shed to store everything in. This is the storage area of garage to one day be converted to a playhouse for Emilia. Shh. . .don't tell her. It will be a surprise. Can't wait for it to be ours and can't wait to have everyone up for 4th of July.
