Beautifully done, and a message that needs to be heard. We have shared our home and lives with four dogkids adopted as adults or seniors, and they have been the light of our lives.

I currently live with 21 indoor cats and 2 dogs all well taken care of. We have adopted many older dogs & I can't say enough about what wonderful animals they have been. I encourage all to adopt an older animal.

That kinda pisses me off. I love animals, I enjoy being around them more than humans. I have 5 dogs and 10 cats right now and we are looking to get more. I wish more people would help these animals.....

Great job, Alex! This Animal Control drama is really frustrating and makes you feel helpless since it's hard enough to make progress w/these rescues - now you have to deal w/the politics of these jerks in power! Stuff like this just reinforces my drive to do what's right for the animals! Keep us posted, cuz we're all here for ya! -George

What a slideshow, I am crying my eyes out right now. I wish everyone could see this. Humans should think twice about getting a pet. Everyone loves puppies and kittens, but tend to forget that they will grow and get old just like we do. When they get old, some people don't want them and they end up in shelters and no one wants to adopt old animals or sick or abused animals. Human beings are the cruelist beings on this beautiful earth. I have pets of all kinds and they stay with me until the very end of their lives and I make this journey for them the best that I can. They do no ever need or want for anything and I am there with them when they leave me. I love all God's wonderful and beautiful creatures and hate how they are treated by some. God bless all the people who feel as I do and take good care of their pets.

What a shock to learn that "Noah's Ark" is being attacked. I adopted an animal from them. When my son picked her up, he witnessed a volunteer flying out of the office and falling to run after an animal that had tried to run off. These volunteers care about all of the animals they rescue. Volunteers means that they receive NO salary and GIVE there time so animals can be spared. What is wrong with this world? They should be giving more help and donations for what they do--go pick on someone else , Noah's Ark is a positive asset to any community.

You need to get this slide show out to the world so they can see what Noah's Ark is all about. It was just so touching. Close down Noah's Ark? That is insane, we need to franchise it to save as many lives as possible. When people learn the truth Long Beach animal control will be out of business and Noahs Ark will be in charge. Good will win out.

I had no idea that was going to show those special animals. I am crying, how absolutely wonderful, how simply poignant. I love it, thank you, Show this to the world please, at least all of Long Beach and then to the world!
