Hi, shouldn't there be a way to choose different font style, color and overlay background color? I'd like to use  a sans serif font that's closer to our CSS on the main site, and over a black background (more stylish). Also, I can't get image credit to go onto next line, below caption. It all displays on a  same line and <br></br> wouldn't work -- displays in the actual show as [[br]][[<br]]. Thank you

For overlay captions, you can choose white text on a black background when you publish. After you check the "overlay captions" checkbox, you should also see a choice for white text on black background.

If you wish to change the font to better match the site, you may wish to use the standard Javascript captions instead.  This is a little more work, though, because you need to make a space for them on the page, and also include the Javascript that is included with the embed code.

There is currently no way to add a line to the caption manually.  The captions are designed to take up as little room as possible so as not to cover the image too much.

Thank you. Where can I find an example of standard Javascript captions?

As for the text lines-I am not trying to add more text; My captions line has only 3 words, and I am just trying to separate photo credit on the next line because it makes no sense to have it read all in one

Looks like all you need to do is press the Enter key at the end of your caption. That will add a line feed at the end of the caption, and the credit will be below it. Here's an example:

Also, for the Javascript captions (if you still need those) you just can publish the slideshow and the javascript captions will work on the slideshow page that pops up, so that's your best example.

Yes! Check the help section, linked below, which explains how to use the slideshow creator.
