I have been using Slideroll Gallery AV for sometime and thought it would work for creating a slideshow for the homepage of this site I am working on (http://www.hopkinsandporter.com/test/). But needing something a little bit more sophisticated--I wanted to overlay and type and have smoother and slower transitions between images--I turned to Slideshow Creator.
It seems though that I am limited to a width of 800pixels, correct? The webpage is 970 pixels wide. So Slideshow Creator won't work for me. Or do I have any options here?

Darn! After a search of the forums I found I can't create a slideshow beyond 800 pixels. This may not be the place for this here but are there any other solutions out there I can try?

I am very interested in using this product for my web-pages but I have been bumping on a problem and I can't find a solution.
I created an slide show but I forgot to 'Fit to screen' the first 4 pictures and so the show starts displaying the very center of them. I erased the first show and started from 0, re-made the Show from 0 again and still the show has the same errors. Anybody has an idea on what should I do?

Did you create an entirely new slideshow, or simply redo the same slideshow project by erasing the timeline and building it again?
The reason I ask is that, if you recreated using the same slideshow project, your browser may have cached the old slideshow when you played it back, so you would have seen the same problem. Clearing your browser cache would allow you to see the updated slideshow immediately.
If you recreated using a new slideshow, I'm not sure why it would show the same issue. The only thing I can think of is a known bug that occurs when you use the same photo twice and use zooming or panning. The first instance will appear zoomed in. The only workaround for this is to upload two copies of the photo you will use twice.
Hope this helps!
