Ack! I've had a little 10 min. slideshow (on Bali) up here on slideroll.com for 3 years, and yesterday I opted to embed it into my travel blog (www.TravelnLass.com) and...
Yesterday it seemed to work just dandy on my site - all 100+ pics faded in/out w/ zooms all in place and captions/text overlays just dandy. So naturally I published the post and then...
I noticed that it was set to start automatically and loop at the end, and I didn't want that so...
I simply went into "Slide Show Creator", then "Load a saved slideshow", then clicked on my one saved slideshow "Bali Bliss" and waited for it to load the show. When it finished loading, I then clicked on "Publish" (as, per your FAQ that's where you must go to reset the auto start and loop settings) and changed those settings to non-auto start and no loop, and then (as I recall) clicked "Apply" and "Save".
I then recopied the embed code into my website and...
The show now in non-auto start, and no loop alright, but...
Trouble is - now both the show on my site AND the show in my slideroll interface seems to be missing most all the pics!
When I "Load a saved slideshow" and wait 'til the moving "load..." icon finishes in the upper right - only a handful of pics show up in the slide tray on the left, while the rest perpetually show that they're still spinning/loading. When I click on "Preview", the show plays but (while the captions show up beneath) the screen is black w/ no pics til 1:17 minutes in. Then there are 3 pics that fade nicely, then back to black/no pics again til 6:30 when I again see 1 measly pic and it goes black again til 6:52, then black again - all the way black til the end at 9:55.
Needless to say: ;(
So where are all those missing pics? How do I get them back? How do I fix this slide show?
Please help.

Hi!
Sorry to hear about your troubles. The reason most of the photos are missing is because they were apparently removed from Slideroll. If you are a free member, your photos will be removed after one year if you don't go Pro.
Your slideshows will not be removed, nor will they be affected by the removal of the photos, unless you decide to try to change your slideshow and republish. Since the original photos used in the project are gone, this is what will happen. :( It should be apparent because the photos don't appear in the timeline, nor the preview.
So, unfortunately, since you've published over the old slideshow, the only way to fix it is to recreate your slideshow from scratch.
Very sorry for the inconvenience!

Oh dear. I wish I'd known that before I tweaked the auto-start/loop. Had I known that I would have simply left it as it was. I mean, it surely wasn't worth losing the entire slideshow!
:( indeed.
