Pictureparty,
Are you saying that playing the Slideroll slide show disables other audio playing on your site?
Please post the URL of your web page so I cantake a look.
If you other audio is an MP3, you can download your slideshow and follow the instructions here.
Thanks! Geoff

Pictureparty,
It looks like you enabled captions for your slideshow, but didn't include the extra caption code:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript"
src="https://slideroll.com/includes/captions.js"></script> |
This is causing javascript errors on your page, which may also be causing the other problems you mentioned.

Pictureparty,
I just viewed your web page, and the Slideshow, music, and captions are all playing fine. Are you still having the problem? What browser and operating system are you using?
Thanks, Geoff

Bellissima,
iTunes can convert music from AAC to MP3 and back, I believe.
Go to the Edit menu > Preferences > Encoding, and change the encoding from AAC to MP3. Then, right-click on your song, and click "Convert Selection to MP3".
Thanks! Geoff

Pictureparty,
Are you already playing music elsewhere on the page, or are you trying to play music within the Slideroll player?
What animations are you speaking of? The animations in the player, or animations elsewhere?
Thanks, Geoff

Ah! Finally I see what you mean.
This only happens in Internet Explorer, as far as I can tell. Here is my advice.
If you want to play your own music, republish your slideshow without the Slideroll music.
If you want your animations to continue, disable the captions. The captions seem to be stopping your GIF animations. This is a bug in IE.
Thanks again!

Mackenziem,
You cannot upload your own music directly to Slideroll. If you want to include you own music, you need to join Slideroll Pro. If you join Slideroll Pro, you can download your slideshow and add your own MP3 music track. The instructions are here.
Best, Geoff
