thank you Geoff for that notice - i've just been a member a short time and was concerned because nothing beneath the level of my slideshow (basically my whole blog) was loading while your server was down.
i'm happy to hear why and appreciate the great service and improved server.

Thanks for your understanding! Don't worry, we only need to do this once a year or so, and we try to time it during a quiet period. Things are running super-fast now!
