Many of my images that were taken vertcally are being cut-off in both the preview and slideshow,  I have tried resizing the actual image in Photoshop and then reloading, but it doesn't make any difference.  Any tips? There are several I would like to use that are being cropped to the point that they are unrecognizable.

If people's heads are being cut off, use the pan/zoom controls to position the slide exactly how you like it.  Click on the button marked "IN" to edit the slides starting position.  Then select the "PAN" button and drag the image up and down so that it is centered where you want it.

To animate the slide, you may then click the "OUT" button to adjust the slide's ending position, and pan and zoom the slide differently.  To preview, simply scrub the timeline by dragging the timeline pointer back and forth over your slide.

Great question!

I would like to view the entire photo in my slide, however some pictures are cutting off the top and bottom.  I understand the Pan & zoon tools, however they do not correct the problem of part of my photo not being shown on the slide.

Are my pictures too large?  If so, any recommendations on resizing?

Thanks for the message.  Sometimes if one does not wait for the server to downsample the image after upload, the image will come into the Slideshow creator at full resolution.  I have just released an update to the creator that should prevent this from happening in the future.

Your photos should be fine now.  I would recommend, though, that you size your images down to 640 pixels before you upload.  It will speed up the upload process.

Thanks again!

My main complaint is that the pictures need to be a horizontal rectangle ratio instead of a vertical rectangle ratio.  Does that make sense?  It's impossible to show the entire image of a 3:4 portrait.

Yes, I understand that.  I wanted the slideshows to have the same aspect ratio as a typical quicktime video or similar to a DVD.  I am planning in the future to add the ability to choose your own aspect ratio.

Thanks again for the advice.
