Dear Slideroll Members,
I'm pleased to announce a new partnership with Sonific that will give us all a world of new musical options for our slideshows.
With Sonific, you can add your favorite music to your slideshows using SongSpots, which are special widgets that appear below your slideshow that play music you choose from an ever-growing selection of albums.
To add a songspot, simply go into the slideshow creator, and click the Sonific SongSpots button.
I can't wait to see tons of great music adorning your slideshows!
Enjoy! Geoff

You say in the FAQ, if we're using the slideshows for a commercial web site, we can download them and upload them to our servers. The Sonific T&C prohibits placement on commercial sites. Is there an exception to this for Slideroll slideshows?

Hi!
I can't speak for Sonific, but I would imagine that there are not any exceptions to this rule. If you would like to add music for your commercial web site, you can use our internal music collection, or convert your own music to MP3 and use that.
Thanks! Geoff

They seem to be no longer in the music business. I use your Pro version. I downloaded a slideroll to my desktop and added a MP3 song to the folder as you suggest. It slideroll plays great with the song on my desktop. When I loaded to my website www.SearchinDenver.com I get a great slideroll with no music. There has to be a better and easier way.

Oh no... looks like Sonific is no more as of five days ago.
Also, it looks like you removed your slideshow from Slideroll.com
The reason that the slideshow does not play the music on your website is because you've embedded the slideshow using the embed code from Slideroll.com, which embeds the version of the slideshow that lives on Slideroll.com, not the one you downloaded.
If you want to embed the one you downloaded, and use your mp3, you will need to upload the folder you downloaded to your web site, copy the embed from the html file included in the download and embed that on your page. You'll also need to adjust the code to point to the proper locations. Details are here:

Thanks! Geoff
