All,

I've worked tirelessly to try and diagnose the reason behind the recent problems people have been having when they try to post their slideshows and cannot see them.

This was originally caused by MySpace's switch to a new HTML code format.  But, as it turns out, it wasn't directly due to MySpace.

I've narrowed the problem down to incompatibilities between the Flash Player and some versions of Internet Explorer.  Fortunately, I've been able to find a solution to this - I've completely upgraded the player to a newer version of Flash, with a new code foundation.

While this may not mean much to you, it will mean that your slideshows will load much more reliably.  I've tested quite a few MySpace layouts and other pages, and they all load great.

This will also mean that in order for people to view your slideshows, they need to have installed at least version 7 of the Flash player.  More than 90% of you will already have at least version 7 installed.

Since this is a new player, there may be some visual bugs that crop up.  I've tested rigorously, but there's always a chance I didn't try something that you have done in your slideshows.

Please report and problems in this thread.

Thanks to all for your patience!
