All,
I'm tremendously excited about a new feature of Slideroll that is currently in beta. Slideroll Video Creator is a desktop program that you can install to create real videos from your slideshows. You can take those videos and use them in your DVD projects or upload them to YouTube to share!
It's PC only for now, so if you are interested in trying an early release, you can get it here:

Thanks! And please report any problems in this thread.
Best, Geoff

All,
I've updated the Videomaker to use MPG video, which is both Youtube and VideoCD compatible. DVD software should read it as well.
I've also added the ability to add your own MP3 soundtrack! Just make sure your music is a real MP3 and your slideshow is as long or longer than the song.
Enjoy! Geoff

Version 0.21a is out...
I raised the video quality quite a bit. The settings in 0.2a were kinda bleah.
Let me know if you run into any issues! Download link is at the top of this page.

Fry..
What exactly doesn't work? Do you see any errors? Are you able to log in and see your slideshow play? Any details you can offer about your experience would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! Geoff

UPDATE 0.3a was released today.
A bunch of fixes, and added the ability to stretch your slideshow's length to the MP3 soundtrack you choose.
Enjoy!

Fry,
You can download the latest via the same link at the top of the thread. Which version of the Flash Player are you using? You need at least version 7. To find out, go to the Slideroll home page, and right click on the main movie. You'll see "About Flash Player" and then the version number.
Thanks! Geoff

I just tried it with one of your slideshows and it worked for me. Hmmm... try waiting a little longer for the slideshow to load.
Thanks! Geoff

Videomaker doesn't work with my Windows Vista I guess. It speeds up the timeline times like 2000% or something.
Also, I can't load a slideroll swf into flash swishmax.
Love the program!!!

Geoff,
Sure, I'll test it. I guess you are talking about the trouble I was having with videomaker/Vista...
I want to use the loadmovie action script in swishmax to create a solution in Swishmax that has a button for each of my slideroll swf's. When I click the button I want the curtains to open and then play one of my slideroll swf. Something slideroll adds to the swf doesn't allow swishmax to load it correctly.
I love Slideroll.

Hi!
I've never used Swishmax... you might be able to load your Slideroll into a level, but I've never tried it.
Thanks! Geoff
