Are you allowed to upload photos to slideshow pane and then select the ones you want to use? If not, is there an option to delete photos from the slideshow pane and replace them from the uploaded photos?
I'd very muchappreciate answers to thse questions as I'm using this program for the first time and need to prepare a birthday present for my daughter.

Yes, you can select the photos you want to add individually by dragging them onto the timeline. Only the photos in the timeline will appear in your finished slideshow. You can also add more photos by clicking "Add Slides..."
