Perhaps you do not have Flash installed in Internet Explorer?
Another possibility is that your security settings are not allowing you to play local (downloaded) content. In that case, once you upload it to your website, it will play normally.
If you are developing a web site, it may be a good idea to set up your Flash Player Security Settings to allow local content to play in your development folder.
You can set that here.

Hi I am having the same issue again after redoing the swf from scratch, as I was telling before, I have a swf that I create with wondershare and it is playing fine on all browsers, therefore it is not a setting about security for IE relating to Adobe folder content or what ever it may be..here is the code again i have inserted : <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0" id="player" align="middle" height="520" width="660"><param name="allowScriptAccess"><param value="all" name="allowNetworking"><param value="true" name="allowFullScreen"><param value="http://www.latoufinaledeco.ca/gallerysite/mygallery.swf?bgcolor=#333333" name="movie"><param value="high" name="quality"><param value="#333333" name="bgcolor"> <embed pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allownetworking="all" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain" name="player" bgcolor="#333333" quality="high" src="mygallery.swf?bgcolor=#333333" align="center" height="520" width="660"></object> Please help.
