I am trying to make the slideshow i produced thru slideroll some time ago larger on our home page (www.vansantgusler.com). i've looked thru the rest of your posts and tried editing, resizing, resaving, recopying/testing most available embed codes, deconstructing and reconstructing a copy of the web page, previewing locally, uploading to web server and live viewing, clearing web cache and just plain rebooting and i cannot get the slideshow to display any larger on my homepage. it appears larger when placed in my dreamweaver template but when saved and previewed in IE it reverts back to original smaller size. few of the times i tested i saw the outline of the larger slideshow as a place holder but when finished regen'ing it shows up small again. I don't seem to remember having this problem on this page when i created the slideshow originally.
I am not a proficient developer but dreamweaver is very intuitive and i do have a decent html understanding. I feel like i am missing something obvious :o Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your effort.

Hi!
Make sure that you republish your slideshow with the new size on Slideroll, and ALSO make sure you update the embed code on your home page so that it matches the new size.
Finally, you may need to clear your browser cache in order to see the slideshow updated. Our CDN uses fairly aggressive caching in order to speed up slideshow playback.
If you continue to have trouble, you may wish to Save As your slideshow to a new slideshow with the new size, and use the embed code from that slideshow. This shouldn't be necessary but it may be easier if you aren't comfortable clearing your browser cache.

i ended up having to do a drive cleanup as a regular browser cache clearing in internet options did not work. once i did that my resized slideshow shows correctly. on other question tho....now it seems to be putting an extra padding on the right hand side of the slideshow box no matter what i put my alignment or cell settings to. i tried clearing again but no change. i am continuing to look at....any ideas?

Is this the slideshow that is on your homepage, or is it another page?
You may want to test your page with the Firebug extension for Firefox. You can use the inspector to view the margins and padding of all block level elements on your page. That way, you can see the padding visually, and look at the CSS to see what CSS selector is causing it.

Without seeing this for myself, I can only guess what the problem is. Can you post a link?
Also, make sure, if you changed the slideshow size at some point, that you copy and paste the embed code again. The embed code needs to be updated if you change the size of your slideshow, because the embed code contains the sizing properties.
